Poster girl.
Conference attendees can learn about novel research projects with interesting preliminary results. A different set of the posters will be on display each day from Wednesday to Saturday.
Posters are grouped into topic areas aligned with the daily conference themes, as indicated below.
Logistical details for poster authors are provided at the very bottom of this page.Poster authors should plan to be in attendance at their poster during the morning coffee break and the afternoon coffee break on the indicated day for their poster.
Presence during part of the lunch hour is also encouraged, but not required.Conference volunteers will be available to help with the setup and removal of posters on each day.
Pushpins and thumbtacks will be available, if required. Poster authors should check in with the conference volunteers at least one day prior to their designated poster day, in order to confirm attendance and finalize the assignment of poster display boards.The poster display boards are free-standing double-sided vertical units.
The display area is 4 feet high by 8 feet wide. Authors should prepare a visually-appealing display of their work that utilizes this space effectively.5x11-inch printed pages that convey the essence of the work and the key results.
Use large readable fonts, as well as colour and diagrams as appropriate.
It does not suffice to display the two-page printed version of your paper from the conference CD-ROM!
The WWW conference traditionally provides a Best Poster award to the authors who display and present their work most effectively. Voting is done either by conference attendees or by designated members of the Poster Track program committee. Award winners will be announced during the WWW2007 closing ceremonies on Saturday.May 12.Source © www2007.org
